Fees/Costs

These classes include a monthly tuition fee; the amount is determined by the length of the class. 45 minute/once a week classes are $38; 1 hour/once a week classes are $42 per month.

Fee listed is for dancers enrolled in automatic withdrawal.  

There is a one-time registration fee of $20.

There is a one-time costume fee of $68. 

There is a one-time recital fee of $20.

Terms and Conditions:
-I hereby register my child for dance classes at The Dance Spot.
-I agree to pay my monthly tuition fee by the 5th of each month.
-I agree to pay a student registration fee of $20.00 per student. This payment will be paid in full before the first class is taken.  
-I agree to pay the returned check fee charge of $20.00 for any check returned from the bank.
-I understand that upon registering, I am expected to purchase a team costume and participate in team pictures.
-I understand that in order to drop a class, I must fill out a drop form and turn it into the office giving 1 month of notice, or I will be charged for the entire month of tuition.   
-I  allow a media release, for my dancers photos to be placed in media for advertising and other purposes.
-In case suit or action is instituted to collect tuition or any other fees due to The Dance Spot, the below named promises to pay all collection costs and such additional sums as the court may adjudge reasonable such as court costs, attorney fees, service of process, etc. in said suit or action.
RELEASE: I hereby release The Dance Spot and all staff and officials from all claims of damages or injury suffered by the above registered student in connection with or by their association with The Dance Spot.  This includes my heirs who may not act in my behalf.
-I have read and understand the terms of the above contract and agree to abide fully by its terms.

Here are some FAQs about our combo classes!

No more than 12  dancers will be put in each class. If the registration exceeds 12 dancers, you will not be turned away. Another class will open up, or you will be notified and can select a different time slot. Classes with more than 8 dancers enrolled will have  a main instructor and an assistant.

None of these classes require an audition. All of our combo classes are for beginning dancers. More advanced classes are available.

Classes with less than 4 dancers will be combined with another class or cancelled.

We offer an automatic withdrawal system for monthly tuition and accept all major credit cards. A discount is offered for those enrolled in this program.

Combo Classes

We are so proud of our recreational program and are thrilled that you're interested in joining us! We offer a full schedule for dancers ages 2-13 wishing to set their dance training in motion. Dancers enrolled in these classes will learn basic ballet skills and terminology, technical skills, and choreography. They will participate in creative movement/improv activities, advance their flexibility, and showcase their skills at 2 recitals. We know you'll find what you're looking for in these classes! 


 

 

Important Dates

April 1st and 2nd: No Class

May 20th and 21st: Last day of regular classes

May 28th: Final Rehearsal
May 29th: TDS End of Year Showcase @ Payson High School. 

June 3rd: Summer Classes Begin

​August 16th: Combo Class Open House

August 26th and 27th: 2019-2020 Combo Classes Begin

​September 2nd and 3rd: No Class- Labor Day

Miscellaneous Info
Dance Gear: Dancers can wear whatever they are comfortable in. Our only requirement is that they do wear some sort of shoe to class.
Parent Watch Day: Our observation day procedure has changed! Check your 2019-2020 registration e-mail for more details!
Recitals: There are 2 recitals. One at Christmas time and one in the Spring. 
Holidays: Any time there is a Monday holiday, Tuesday dancers will mimic the holiday and class will be cancelled. ​
